The Brazilian Redhead Tarantula, scientifically known as Bumba horrida (formerly Maraca cabocla), is a New World terrestrial tarantula found in Brazil. It is characterized by its striking orange carapace (head region) and shiny black abdomen and legs. This species is known for its docile temperament, though it can be skittish, especially as a sling (spiderling).

    • Temperature: Maintain temperatures between 72-80°F (22-27°C). 
    • Water: Provide a water dish with fresh water at all times.
