The Bahia Grey Birdeater (Lasiodora striatipes) is a New World terrestrial tarantula native to Brazil. They are known for their impressive size, reaching 7-8 inches in leg span, and their grey coloration with red hairs on the abdomen. These tarantulas are generally docile and make a good display pet for intermediate to experienced keepers.
