The Sphaerobothria hoffmanni is a species of tarantula, also known as the Central American Horned Tarantula, found in Panama and Costa Rica. It's the only species in the genus Sphaerobothria. These tarantulas are known for their burrowing behavior and a unique "horn" on their carapace, making them a distinctive species.
